been a long time

so i've been busy the past few months...missed a month of posting anything here for the first time in a long while. but, well, con and then uncanny dream took over my life. now life is just being blah...lots to do, little motivation. XD

uncanny dream was amazing! i did a two week sprint of finishing up everything before the show. sewed together nine outfits in one week, plus sewed all the stuff needed for the display background. i painted up oracle, too, during that two week period. the show itself was great. there were 80 name tags as an optimistic estimate - they were gone within an hour. there were about 200 people who signed the guestbook, but closer to 300 who came! holy cow! i mean, i had a high estimate of 100 people and that was just blown away! thank you to everyone who made it so wonderful and successful!

i'm taking over overseeing the organization of next year. so far working with one other person on finding places. with luck we will pull in a few more soon and get this thing organized! *shrug* so much to do~

i've actually been feeling the motivation to continue working on my dolls, and, for the first time in a long time, i actually have the time to do so. since the show i've been working on some clothing pieces for them. this past week i managed to mod open eris's eyes and to paint her and make her an outfit. she looks amazing! everyone who has seen her is stunned and can't believe that they never really looked at ari before. XD so, half of a goal has been accomplished years after deciding i would have to try for it. next up i will hopefully get aria done up and looking just as amazing...then they both need to go off to keekster for tattoos.

let's see, what else has been going on? i put in an amazingly huge order to leeke. wow did that every blow up! XD put out the word on facebook and suddenly it just exploded with people wanting stuff! suppose that's what happens when you suddenly add a bunch of doll friends there. lol um...ordered a d. silvia head in the iple event. can't wait for her to arrive! dunno what all i will be doing with her just yet, but she will likely end up very interesting. :) also have two c-line bodies on order for elijah and imogen - as well as the new high heel mnf feet for winter! :)

oh, i got a buff chibi unoa head back. then got another one that she sent by mistake. XD so yeah, ended up buying that one, too, since i'd been considering getting a second. now i'm in an order for the "o" plate. already have a name and tons of ideas...can't wait to get working on that doll! i will have to order two more mnf bodies for them. need to start saving for the autumn event so i can order then...need to get madbhen an a-line body as well since she doesn't get played with at all on winter's old b-line. -_-

hmmm no other new resin in or orders. i've got one of cat's dolls here that i need to do some more with. need to pull out the other stuff that she's sent me and see what all works with baby knot and take some photos of her. need to go see pirates - hopefully kireix and i are going this weekend. will also have to see green lantern and captain america.

yeah, not much else going on right now...at least not that i can recall.... >_>
