uninspired and uninspiring

i can't help but feel like there's no point for me to even try sometimes. even on as nice and relaxing a day as today the feeling persists.

turns out that the person who posted about doing doll panels in addition to mine actually is the same person. i checked with the panels staff about my confirmation and was told that mine are scheduled, but they haven't sent confirmation yet as room and time assignments are still being decided upon. they also said that the other person who put in for panels is getting theirs, but that they will be scheduled on a different day so as to avoid conflict. i can't help but feel a bit spiteful and hope that their panels bomb. she could have at least had the decency to tell me she decided differently, but no, she decided to just go ahead with it after saying that she'd bow out - fully acknowledging that we will be doing the exact same things. seems i'm getting support from various people outside of the local group, but we shall see. i know as many of my friends as possible will show up, so that is a comfort.

speaking of doll shows, it has now been officially announced by candygears that the first articulated fantasy show will happen! it will be on the 29th of may at 619 western in seattle. we'd been throwing the idea around for the past 2 years or so now, so it is great that it's now going to be a reality! so far response has been great. hopefully the actual show will be great as well. if things go well, we will be looking into doing it again next year as it would be great to make it into a yearly expo. :) information is up on resin+, doa, and facebook (as well as various blogs). i'll post more later about it. (oh! and i will be one of the people featured for the artist displays!...now to get stuff done for my display and all the clothing needed for the triplets...)

okay, i suppose that's enough out of me...i'd like to ask that anyone who actually does read either comments or follows my blog. i'd kinda like to know who all actually looks at my random insanities. ^_^*

(oh yeah...chloe arrived on the 15th! i need to get her box opening up... >_> )
