i swear i'm alive...

just been really busy with stuff. had several weeks of being busy trying not to get sick and trying to get things ready for friends visiting for sakura-con. now i actually have time to myself! for the first time in the past year i don't have any solid plans until months down the line. no impromptu trips possibly on the horizon or anything of the sort. i'm just floating along with the only definite things being work monday through friday and a trip in july. that's it. it feels amazing! right now i have a ginormous pile of stuff that has been being put off for the past year: photos to get edited and up; books and manga to read; webcomics to catch up on; dolls to get prettied up...i can actually start working on it!!!! :D sooooooooooo excited!


anyways, con was fun. had a real blast with friends visiting for it. cosplayed grell again. that was fun, but wish we could have gotten in more time for a proper photoshoot. i think that i need to concentrate on getting my regular slr lens fixed or getting a new one, as well as getting myself a remote camera trigger so that i can do photos involving myself as well. *sigh* yeah, lotta stuff that costs money. -_- but in the end it will be good because then i can do more photography. hmm....maybe this summer i'll even try to do some of the gasukans...dunno.

on the doll front, i'm getting close to finishing up paying off my fairyland order, which will mean bodies and doll #24 arriving! woooo! i'm also looking at purchasing another hunk of resin in the mean time and then starting in on purchasing another doll from a friend. oooooh my will it be good and oooooh my am i breaking what i said (again) about buying pretty much just bodies this year. then again, the dolls are limiteds, sooooo i can make an exception, right? ^_^

also already planning cosplays for the upcoming year or so. i've four of them on my plate at this point: kozi from the malice mizer beast of blood pv; washu from tenchi muyo!; and matsumoto and nels from bleach. the first i get to do with kasa at least, the second with kireix and possibly an entire group down the road, and the last with neko (and maybe awtan). soooo excited about all of them!!! gonna take a little time to get myself centered and on track before starting in on making wigs and outfits and props...

okay! time for me to get going on stuff! must do things! must not nap! must not space out! i have an entire afternoon left of being off of work to get some stuff done before going back to the grind! (ugh...this weekend went by waaaay too fast!)
