resin+ has passed the first year mark with a rather good showing of active members and posts. :) there are still regular meets occurring and we are about to start a new cycle with a bunch of new plans and ideas for some of them. i can't wait to see how this year goes compared to the last! some down sides though are that there are a lot of newer people who really aren't getting a clue. -_- keekster's miyuki had her fresh tattoos scratched at and insulted at the first meet she was out to a few months back, there have been some awkward moments, and i've nearly yelled at a few people for their disrespectful actions. kireix and myself were asked about if superglue is okay to use on resin by one person...and an awkward moment ensued as to the reason why and another person chiming in about a type of glue that i'm pretty sure you shouldn't be using on resin.*sigh* newbs and the willfully ignorant. that's how things have been going on doa as well. i don't see why i bother to post pictures there - even if only one in discussion. only the last one - not even a good one at that - received comment. T_T
anyway...um...i've bought both of the new feeple65 fullsets! i tried to get them as the set, but then paypal was a bitch and so i had to order them separate through fl and featherfall. ah well. i can't wait for them to arrive since the bodies are for azerian and demonia. soooooo excited! *bounces around* can't wait! probably won't arrive until march...but a girl can hope for sooner! (especially since i'm one of the first to have ordered either way...)
hmm...oh...there was snow just before thanksgiving. that was fun. i <3 snow! but had to take a snow day from work because the buses weren't reliable enough to get down the hill. they actually didn't scrape the main streets up here until mid-day wednesday that week. total fail. i've some okay pictures of persephone to post from that day. was sooooo bitter cold and windy that i didn't take many. oh! and she now has green eyes! i put the darker green ones that came in oracle (rheia) in her and they work wonderfully! not the color or size i'd originally thought to have for her, but they are beautiful and she probably will stay in them. :)
hmm...not much else otherwise...large trunk show two weeks ago. was super fun! got to meet a few people that i was really wanting to meet in person. got to see tons of stupendous dolls. spent the week making a bunch of doll blankets....only to have no one buy them. T_T that was a downside. especially since i could have been working on my christmas exchange gift...that still isn't done. my poor person isn't gonna get their gift until january at this rate! *feels super bad*
they took the tree out across the street today. T_T it was such a pretty old tree. didn't look like much was wrong to me, but i guess they had some reason to be rid of it. now it's so empty out there. T_T
so yeah...i don't remember anything else i was really gonna talk about. >_> i guess i will end things here and go hide away again for a bit.
